Getting to Lupton

Please note, if trying to find us using a satnav, the postcode can sometimes take you to a non- accessible entrance.  It may be better to follow the directions below.
Lupton is 1 mile from Brixham on the A3022 (the main road into Brixham), 6 miles from Paignton and 9 miles from Torquay on the B3199.
If approaching from outside Torquay take the A380 at Newton Abbot which joins the A3022 at Paignton.

Lupton is situated on the right hand side, look out for the wooden bus shelter and two white gatehouses at the entrance to the drive. Please see below for parking arrangements if you are coming by car.

Public Transport

Buses
Buses 12 and 12a also stop at the end of the drive. Number 12 buses operate in both directions to and from Brixham and Torquay approx every 15-20 mins, bus stops are on both sides of the road, outside Lupton House entrance.
Taxis
Taxis are allowed to drop off and pickup at the pay gate area inside the venue.
Free Bus Shuttle for those coming by bus or taxi will pick up just inside the main gateway so no need to worry about the long walk along the drive to the house.

Car Parking and Bus Shuttle to the Event

The event car park is located near the venue, with a Free Bus Shuttle in operation throughout the day. This is located off Kennels Road, Brixham (Torbay steam rally site). Cars can accees the carp park through GATE 3. 
 Parking charge is £2.50 per car.  We have laid on a free all day return Bus Shuttle service up to Lupton until 5.30pm.

Disabled Parking

Please note there is limited disabled parking at the venue itself. It is available on a first come first serve basis. We apologise that booking is unavailable. We do however have a drop off point inside the venue which is located at the pay gate area.

 

Camping & Bed and Breakfast Nearby

There is no provision for camping onsite at this time. However, there are plenty of local options nearby.
Early booking very advisable as the event is in high holiday season!!!

Transport to Torbay

Torbay is served by a main railway line, the M5 motorway to Exeter , airports in both Exeter and Plymouth, a main sea port in Plymouth together with an international marina in Torquay and three harbours at Brixham, Paignton and Torquay.
By Road
Take the M4 from West or East of the country to the M5 going south from Bristol . Follow the M5 south, then at Exeter (90 miles from Bristol ) take the A380 dual carriageway to Newton Abbot and Torquay. At the end of this dual carriageway is the Penn Inn roundabout. Take the second exit toward Torquay and follow the signs.
After approximately 6 miles you will come to a large roundabout - turn right to Paignton and Brixham, this takes you along the Dual Carriage, way which is the ring road. You should follow this road for a further 6 miles without turning from this main road. You will arrive at Brixham.
By Train
First Great Western and Virgin trains operate to Paignton on a regular basis from across the country. The main line goes through Newton Abbot with either a direct connection to Paignton, stopping at Torre and Torquay (main station), or a change of train at Newton Abbot. Paignton railway station has a taxi rank and is about 1/2 mile from the town centre. As the line ends at Paignton, for Brixham you will need to use Taxi, or Bus services both of which operate from right by the Railway Station services both operate from right by the Railway Station.
By Coach
National Coach Express travels to Torquay and Brixham from many areas of the UK and is one of the most cost effective means of traveling to Brixham. They can be contacted on 08705 808080. A Disabled Persons Travel Helpline can be contacted on 0121 423 8479 . A text phone is provided for customers who are deaf or hard of hearing. Please call 0121 455 0086 . The coach station is at Lymington Road in Torquay approximately ½ mile from the top end of Torquay town.

Catering

There is an onsite cafe serving a range of hot and cold foods catering for all needs, and a range of outdoor options too, including a pre evening show barbeque on the Saturday evening.
